Hi! My name is Will and I am the founder of Simply Canada. I am 16 years old but started Simply Canada when I was 14 as a proud Canadian.

I have spent most of my life living abroad. Between the ages of 3 and 10, I lived in South East Asia and I am now living in the UK. As exciting as this has been, I have not had the opportunity to live in my native country for very long.

​

My family and I generally go home at least once a year - sometimes in the summer to our cottage, and sometimes in the winter to ski. However, because of the coronavirus pandemic I wasn't able to go back for two long years. I wanted to channel my "inner Canadian" and bring the spirit of Canada to the UK.

So, I started Simply Canada!

​

Simply Canada is a company which offers different apparel and accessory products which promote modern, all-Canadian designs. It took me about eight months to research and start Simply Canada.

​

Starting Simply Canada has been an amazing learning experience! After lots of research, designing, and false starts, I created and launched Simply Canada and learned many new skills along the way:  Digital designing, product design, product fulfillment, website design, marketing, and tax, just to name a few... 

 

It all started when I was doodling and designing cartoon figures. I am now focused on making true Canadian designs that I think embrace and celebrate the Great White North.

Thankfully, I have been able to return to Canada this summer and I thought, why not work on Simply Canada as a summer job? So, that is why I brought Simply Canada back home!

It has been a great journey so far, and I hope you enjoy the site as much as I do.
